Gala Volunteers needed!
This year the Eugene Symphony’s 51st Season Gala kicks off with a concert by the Eugene Symphony playing with Portland-based band Pink Martini. Following the performance, guests will continue their evening at the Hilton Eugene at our annual Gala, a black-tie event including dinner, a live auction with incredible packages, music, and dancing, all to benefit the Symphony's onstage, community engagement, and education programs. Attendees include our community’s arts lovers, business leaders, caring philanthropists and professionals who love music!
Our tenacious Gala Committee is already in the planning stages to make this year’s Gala one of the best ever, and we need your help!
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Gala wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of a great group of volunteers to ensure everything at the event runs smoothly and guests are having a great time.
There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer – from working the Champagne bar and selling raffle tickets; being a spotter during the live auction; checking guests in and out at registration; and even helping with set up and tear down – that we’re sure to have a job for you! If you would like to join our fun group of volunteers and help make this Pink Martini Gala the best ever, please contact Ashley Petsch at ashley.petsch@eugenesymphony by December 1, 2016. Any and all talents are needed, and we will match your time and talents to the work. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Table seaters and hosts
- Providing floor support to Auctioneer through “Spotting” bidders
- Recording auction winners to give to registration teams
- Registration – including Check-in and check-out using data base and helping to add or bill any remaining credit cards
- Champagne and Truffle promotion and delivery
- Set-up and break-down
