Play it Again!
Adult Chamber Ensembles

The Eugene Symphony’s popular Play It Again! Adult Chamber Ensemble program is now accepting applications for amateur musicians 18 and older who wish to play in small groups in spring 2017. The deadline to apply is January 6, 2017.

About the program: Play It Again! participants will receive six coaching sessions with professional Eugene Symphony musicians. The ensembles meet biweekly for rehearsals, discussion, and skill-building activities that culminate with a public performance May 21, 2017 at 2:30 pm at the First Christian Church in downtown Eugene.

Requirements: Auditions for the adult ensembles are not required; however, new participants will be asked to play at a hearing for Symphony staff on Saturday, January 14, 2017 so that chamber groups can be determined with balanced experience levels.

Cost & scholarships: $65 participation fee. To recruit musicians who play traditional chamber ensemble instruments, partial scholarships are available for oboe, trombone, bassoon, and viola players. Instruments may be available.
