With grant support from the Hult Endowment of the Oregon Community Foundation, Eugene Symphony presents “The Four Seasons of the McKenzie River,” a year-long project in partnership with McKenzie River Trust and Travel Lane County.
The project will highlight the beautiful nature of Oregon's McKenzie River in an innovative performance of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons on February 15, 2018 at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene. Tickets available later this year.
The public is now invited to submit hi-resolution photographs and video of the McKenzie River and its environs, throughout all seasons of the year. Submitted imagery will be selected through a juried process for inclusion in the final production of a full-length video by Attic Media, Inc., which will be projected above the stage as the orchestra plays Vivaldi’s music live.
Artists whose work is selected will be credited during the concert (on screen and in the program magazine), on web and social media platforms, and will be invited to a dress rehearsal.
