Play it Again! Adult Chamber Ensembles

The Eugene Symphony’s popular Play It Again! Adult Chamber Ensemble program brings together amateur musicians 18 and older who wish to dust off their old instruments and perform again!

Play It Again! participants receive six coaching sessions with professional Eugene Symphony musicians. The ensembles meet biweekly for rehearsals, discussion, and skill-building activities that culminate with a public performance at the First Christian Church in downtown Eugene.

Requirements: Auditions for the adult ensembles are not required; however, new participants will be asked to play at a hearing for Symphony staff so that chamber groups can be determined with balanced experience levels.

Cost & scholarships: $65 participation fee. To recruit musicians who play traditional chamber ensemble instruments, partial scholarships are available for oboe, trombone, bassoon, and viola players. Instruments may be available.

The registration period to join an ensemble for this year's Play it Again! has passed, but the performance will take place:

Sunday, May 21st at 2:30pm

First Christian Church

1166 Oak St, Eugene OR 97401

Free and open to the public!
