The Eugene Symphony announces the following openings for its 2010-2011 season:

SECTION FIRST VIOLIN (2 positions), 58 services, $100.42 per service*
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL SECOND VIOLIN, 58 services, $110.46 per service*
SECTION SECOND VIOLIN (2 positions), 58 services, $100.42 per service*
SECTION SECOND VIOLIN (2 positions), 48 services, $100.42 per service*
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL VIOLA, 58 services, $110.46 per service*
PRINCIPAL TRUMPET, 58 services, $125.52 per service*
SECOND TRUMPET, 58 services, $100.42 per service*

*current rate under negotiation for 2010-2011

Auditions for the string and principal trumpet positions will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2010. Auditions for the second trumpet position will take place on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Auditions will take place in Soreng Theater at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene, Oregon.

Your one-page résumé and $25 refundable deposit (payable to Eugene Symphony) must be received by June 9, 2010. Mail to:

Audition deposit will be returned at the audition or by mail if cancellation is made before June 9, 2010.
