Ticket FAQ

The Order Process

Is your online order process safe?

Yes. Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the internet.

When your order reaches our office, it can be decrypted only by designated individuals in our Ticket Office.

How do you process my order?

Seating assingments for new subscribers are made on a date-received basis after renewing subscriber orders have been processed. Renewing subscribers are given priority for seating changes. All subscribers receive their tickets in the mail no later than two weeks before the start of the season.

When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets and other important subscriber information will be mailed to you at least two weeks before your first concert.

What if I can’t make it to a concert?

You have lots of options if you can’t make it to a concert.

  1. You can give your tickets to a friend
  2. You can exchange your tickets (at least 24 hours before the start of the concert) for another Symphony show (either subscription or special concerts). If tickets to the show you exchange into cost more than your original tickets, you just pay the difference. Your tickets can either be exchanged over the phone or at the box office. Tickets exchanges are subject to a processing fee.
  3. You can return your tickets, up to 20 minutes before the start of the show, for a tax-deductible contribution. Your receipt (for tax purposes) will be mailed to you after the performance. Ticket returns must be made at the box office.
