The Piano Buffs Package

Hear those keys sing with our Compose Your Own 3-concert Piano Buffs package! These three evenings during our 2022/23 season feature guest piano soloists who make magic happen with one of the orchestra's largest instruments.
Put these concert dates on the calendar:
- October 8: Opening Night with guest Orion Weiss playing Gershwin's Piano Concerto in F
- March 16: Rachmaninov's Third Piano Concerto with guest pianist Claire Huangci
- April 20: Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet with guest pianist Pallavi Mahidhara performing Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2
The Love Stories Package

Our Compose Your Own 3-concert Love Stories package is the perfect complement to your date night!
Put these on the calendar and make a restaurant reservation:
- Thursday, November 17: Tristan und Isolde, Act II (you do not need to have seen Act I) with guest opera singers Nina Warren and Roy C. Smith as the title characters
- Thursday, April 20: Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet
- Thursday, May 25: Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe
The New Voices Package

New voices and new ideas hit the stage in these premieres, including clarinet aficionado David Krakauer and First Symphony Project composers Angélica Negrón and Gabriella Smith.
Mark these dates and prepare for these new works:
- Thursday, October 27: Scheherezade, featuring the Pacific Northwest premiere of David Krakauer and pianist Kathleen Tagg's The Fretless Clarinet
- Thursday, February 16: Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, with the world premiere of Angélica Negrón's Symphony No. 1
- Thursday, March 16: Rachmaninov's Third Piano Concerto, featuring the Pacific Northwest Premiere of Gabriella Smith's Symphony No. 1, ONE for Orchestra
The Timeless Classics Package

If the old school composers are your thing, our Compose You Own 3-Concert Timeless Classics package will hit all the right notes. These three concerts feature the classic Scheherezade, and multiple works by Beethoven and Mozart.
Put these concert dates on your calendar:
- Thursday, October 27: Scheherezade — Traditional klezmer music with guest clarinetist David Krakauer and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade
- Saturday, December 10: Beethoven's Ode to Joy and Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage, accented by the Eugene Symphony Chorus
- Thursday, January 19: Mozart's "Jupiter" and "Turkish," paired with Martines Sinfonia and Haydn's Overture to The Desert Island
