Symphony Connect brings the power of music to the community for inspiration, healing, and connection.
A chamber music initiative, Symphony Connect features diverse programming in a variety of venues beyond the concert hall, such as human service agencies, community hubs, hospitals, restaurants, and other locations in Eugene, Springfield, and throughout the southern Willamette Valley.
Partnering with Human Services
Symphony Connect currently partners with four organizations – Laurel Hill Center, Cornerstone Community Housing, Saint Vincent de Paul, and Riverfront School – to present interactive, client centered performances and activities designed with guidance from Music Therapist Danielle Crowe to build community and promote wellness through music.
Symphony Connect is generously supported by the The Collins Foundation, Herbert A. Templeton Foundation, Kevin & Irene Alltucker Family Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation, Oregon Arts Commission, and Oregon Cultural Trust.
