Th​e recipient of a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Oliver Herbert is a cello soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician with a rapidly growing international presence. On Tuesday, January 30th, come listen to performances of cello works, as three talented students work with Eugene Symphony guest artist Oliver Herbert as part of the Laura Avery Visiting Masters Series. No musical experience necessary to attend.

This event is free and open to the public.

About Oliver Herbert:
Oliver Herbert is a cello soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician with a rapidly growing international presence. The recipient of a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant, Oliver’s natural musicianship and connective performances are carving a unique path in the world of music.

As a soloist, Oliver’s collaborations include appearances with the San Francisco Symphony, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New World Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia, Erfurt Philharmonic, and Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, among others.
