Encouraging Young Musicians to Achieve (EYMA)
The Eugene Symphony invites middle and high school music programs to apply for EYMA (Encouraging Young Musicians to Achieve) for the 17-18 school year. At no cost to participating schools, teaching artists drawn from the Symphony's professional ensemble will work with band and orchestra instructors from selected schools to co-develop a series of five one-hour visits. These sessions could include sectionals, master classes, rehearsals, discussions or college/career explorations by ESA musicians.
This Program is offered at no cost to participating schools.
Deadline to Apply: December 1, 2017
School Notification: December 9, 2017
A limited number of select schools will receive five (5) visits by Eugene Symphony musicians throughout the 17-18 school year.
