Affectionately known as “the people’s diva,” soprano Renée Fleming returns to sing with the Eugene Symphony for the first time since 2007. One of the most beloved and celebrated musical ambassadors of our time, Renée captivates audiences with her sumptuous voice, consummate artistry, and compelling stage presence. She’ll perform Samuel Barber’s luminous song cycle Knoxville: Summer of 1915 in addition to some of her favorites from opera and musical theater.
