There will also be a performance of Thomas’ Mansueto Tribute “double helix” for two violins, with choreography by Alito Alessi and dancers of DanceAbility International.

Price: Included with regular museum admission; free for MNCH member and UO ID card holders.

The Eugene Symphony will conclude our two-part collaboration with Augusta Read Thomas as Third Coast Percussion performs the West Coast premier of Sonorous Earth, co-commissioned by the Eugene Symphony, which features ceremonial bells from cultures all over the world on Thursday, April 19 at 7:30 pm.

Grammy Award winner Augusta Read Thomas’s week-long artist residency with the Eugene Symphony is made possible through the generosity of the following sponsors: National Endowment for the Arts, Nils & Jewel Hult Endowment - Arts Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation, and New Music USA. Alessi's participation is made possible through a Career Opportunity Grant from the Oregon Arts Commission, and support from DanceAbility International.
